Cookies & storage

The small things this browser remembers.

You can play without a lasting favourite list. This page explains tab storage, remembered progress and review cookies.

The bookmark on your device

Saved titles and personal scores can be held in tab storage during a visit. With permission they are also kept in local storage, ready when you return on the same device. They do not become a remote reader account.

Remembering your decision

The website keeps the progress-storage choice for up to 180 days. Open the setting from the footer to revise it or erase saved progress. You can continue playing when the optional record is turned off.

Recognising a contribution

The public review form uses a first-party random visitor cookie and a session cookie. The visitor value may remain for one year; its hash helps recognise a browser’s contribution. This is separate from the favourite list.

What is absent

There are no advertising pixels or analytics cookies in these pages. A public review is stored on the site’s server, and an email draft remains under your control until you send it. The Privacy page follows those routes in more detail.

Questions about this page?

Write to [email protected] or prepare a message on the Contact page. Please do not send passwords or browser security tokens.

Choose whether this device keeps personal scores and favourites after the current tab closes. Games work either way.

Public ratings and comments use a separate server service and first-party review cookies. Clearing device progress does not delete public feedback.
