Know what counts.
A landed fish earns 10, 20 or 30 points depending on its type. The fish must return to the boat on the hook before it counts. The round lasts 60 active seconds; pausing stops its timer.

A little help to get started.
Look ahead of a moving fish rather than straight at it. Deeper casts take longer to return. There is no need to rush every drop: a well-timed cast is often better than several empty ones.
